The first step to supporting a child with Autism is understanding the "spectrum" that is Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Below is a list of helpful online resources to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder and the diagnosis formerly known as Asperger's Disorder.

A Parent' Guide to Autism is also available upon request from the Autism Speaks website. Use the link below to complete the online form and request a "Took Kit"(https://www.autismspeaks.org/tool-kit/parents-guide-autism).
The CDC (Center for Disease Control) offers a "Learn the Signs. Act Early." program to help caregivers learn more about the early signs of Autism. Per the website, the "Learn the Signs. Act Early" program aims to "improve early identification of developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism, by facilitating family-engaged developmental monitoring and promoting developmental screening so children and their families can get the services and support they need at the earliest age possible."
